Gokyo Lake Trek (3 Passes Trek)

Everest High Passes Trek takes us to the Everest Base Camp, Kalapatthar, Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri and high mountain passes. More importantly, this route introduces trekkers to the remote and untouched Nangpa La Valley, the Sherpa village of Marlung and the monastery village of Thame. Moreover, trekkers tread on world famous routes while crossing three high passes Kongma La (5,535), Cho La (5420m) and Renjo La (5,340m).

Everest High Passes Trek is an ideal choice for a true adventure seeker looking for a challenging trek in the Everest region which also involves crossing high mountain passes. If we are looking to undertake a slightly less adventurous trek than this but which includes Gokyo lakes, Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp, then Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lakes - 18 Days would be best.

Testimonials

Some words form clients

  • “Shambhala has the best staffs and the best service for safe and fun treks and climbs.”

    Edwin Marzec

  • “Going to Nepal and trekking the Annapurna circuit changed my life and that couldn’t have been done without the help of Shambhala Trekking Agency. Our sherpa’s were incredible and were honestly like family. They always made are so passionate about what they do and have so much knowledge about everything there is to know about the trek sure we were doing good and helped us out if we needed it. They even made a cake for my birthday while on the trek. They. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to go with.”

    Eddie Pelka

  • “2016 was our 10th trip with Shambhala and we plan on more to come. The service is great. They are also very knowledgeable and responsible regarding the pace and what we do at altitude. We have done the Basic Everest Base Camp 5 times with them, Annapurna, Mustang and Everest Base Camp in Tibet. Every trip was great.
    Thanks for a great trip.”

    Mark Walsh

  • “We now already made 4 times a trekking that was organised by Shambala trekkings. And we hope there will come some more. We now know many guides, sherpa’s, cooks, helpers, and what the names are further. For us the function didn’t much matter, many became friends. And the personal help everybody got when he or she needed it, was extraordinary. The trekking route for the group fitted exactly on our wishes, so what could we wish more?”

    Rob

  • “I have used this trekking agency since 1994. Guides, Sherpas are well-trained, personable and very professional. Treks, even to standard destinations have a strong spiritual element. Not intrusive but borne of respect for the land as well as a Buddhist sensitivity. Padam, knows the flora and fauna as well as local lore and he is happy to share. All arrangements are safe and secure and you will never feel in danger. You are carefully watched and evaluated for safety and health. All of the treks I have made (6) have been well-managed, tough and memorable.”
